Cargo Bike / Bakfiets - Pedal Powered, NOT Ebike

Milano bakfiets / front basket cargo bike. Made under license from classic Dutch cargo bike company Bakfiets dot nl. *No motor! *NOT* AN EBIKE! Purely human/pedal-powered!* This bike has brought so much joy to our family over the years. It's European-made and very solid. Getting rid of it because more grocery shopping etc. has opened up so close to us. +New seatbelts for one or two small passengers. +Not sure if the frame is steel or aluminum, but it is much easier to ride than many would guess. +Tuned up in July 2025, ridden less than a half mile since. I emphasized to the mechanic that the main purpose of the tune-up was the safety of child passengers. +Internal lock, plus I will throw in a chain & lock. +Has always lived indoors, but is built to withstand outdoor storage. +New front tire. +Originally, uncovered portions of the bolts all over the basket and bike stuck out, creating a hazard for kids; I have capped them all with new acorn nuts. I have tried to highlight all the dings and scratches the wood has sustained over the years, and I have tried to show all the visually imperfect but functionally sound repairs I have made. One mechanic said the chain should be replaced; the more senior mechanic who did the tune-up said the chain was about 60% through its life, so I did not replace. I will throw in a lock & chain AND the materials I used to do touch-ups on the wood--that includes Bondo wood filler, high-quality marine varnish, and a wood stain pen. I have been told by people more knowledgeable than I that it can be converted to an ebike, but I can't make any guarantees. Can provide more pictures upon request.
