Vintage Walter Bosse Zebra Salt and Pepper Shakers. Beautiful Black/Silver Heavy Metal (probably bronze) Art Deco, From Early 50-es. Zebra is about 4x4, shakers about 1.5 inch. In great vintage condition with natural signs of age wear. Walter Bosse was an Austrian artist and designer known for his modernist ceramics and metalwork, especially his popular "Black Golden" series of bronze animal figurines. His prolific body of work also included pottery, metalwork, and everyday objects like letter openers and corkscrews, which were influenced by both Art Deco and the Viennese Secession movements.
