Graphic Novel, Brooms

Brooms, written by Jasmine Walls and illustrated by Teo DuVall, is a graphic novel. Taking place in 1930s Mississippi, this story follows various characters — several being femme LGBTQ+ characters of various racial backgrounds — who are exploring their magic and racing brooms illegally. It is a standalone read that balances humor and fun while touching on topics such as sexism, racism, and homophobia. This is aimed at young adults. Looking to let this paperback book be enjoyed by others. Coming from a smoke free home, the book edges have a few small markings (see photo for example). The pages themselves are otherwise scuff free.
