Ice skate sharpening stick Quickfix Skate Sharpening Tool

Ice skate sharpening stick (commonly known as a Quickfix Skate Sharpening Tool). How It Works: • Purpose: It is a portable, handheld tool used by hockey players, figure skaters, and goalies to quickly touch up or restore a damaged or dull skate blade edge while on the bench or before stepping onto the ice. • The Mechanism: The two white extensions at the top are hard ceramic or stone inserts. By placing the skate blade into the V-shaped gap between these two inserts and pulling the tool down the length of the blade, it strips away burrs and hones the edge.
