Made of 316 "marine" Stainless Steel and is 25.4 inches. Will not corrode from salt like 304 stainless steel or aluminum covers. Will not melt like silicone covers. The bottom outer edge is carefully rounded by hand and inspected twice to ensure no burrs or sharp feeling.
