Calathea Ornata Pinstripe Plant

A very healthy Calathea Ornata Pinstripe plant. Recently repotted and added fresh soil and plant food. Looking for a happy home for it. Calathea Ornata is also known as the "Pinstripe Plant" for good reason – its elongated, dark green leaves are lined with electric pink stripes. It is native to South America and seen in many tropical climates such as Thailand. The pinstripes are so delicate that they look like brush strokes, contrasting beautifully with the plant's deep green leaves and dark purple undersides. Pro tips: Although Calathea's are known as the divas of the plant world, once they are in the right environment, the payoff is phenomenal. No two leaves are alike and the colours that occur through all the varieties in the family are bold and beautiful. Keep in a highly humid environment with lots of bright, indirect light (no direct sun), watering only with distilled or rain water. Once this is achieved, you will sit and stare at your new plant for hours!
