When you plug it in; the white charging light doesn't always come on right away—you need to apply a little pressure and adjust the angle until it connects. Once it's in the right position, it charges fine, but it takes some figuring out. This could be the wire or the magnetic port — I haven't diagnosed it. You may want to budget for a replacement charger. (Surface Pro 2 chargers are easy to find on Amazon). The charger IS included, but please factor this in before buying.
