2004 Subaru Legacy GT Turbo (JDM) Project Car

Selling my JDM Subaru Legacy GT Turbo, a cool imported car great for a project! I used it as a family car for the past year. It's been a project car, and I suspect some internal engine damage. I had major oil leaks fixed at a shop, but based on the repairs and timeline, I believe there might be some internal damage. The shop also mentioned it might need a new radiator system. I have all receipts for various replacement parts and repairs, along with the original manual and import documents. It has brand new Goodyear summer tires installed in April, driven for only about 3 months (cost almost $1000). Oil changes were done roughly every 6,000 km by myself, as I have professional experience in a shop setting. Front and rear brakes were replaced about 16,000 km ago and should be good for at least another 10,000 km. There's some paint chipping, as shown in the photos. Unfortunately, I cannot offer test drives due to the engine's current condition. I've kept up with maintenance, and it's a great car with good storage and features. We're selling because we have a young baby and no longer have the time to work on it ourselves. Recently replaced parts (July 2025) include: Cam shaft seals, Crank seal, Turbo return hose, Turbo banjo bolt washers, exhaust gaskets, oil pressure switch center, toothed idler pulley, and tensioner pulley assembly. I also have spare OEM parts. There's some surface rust, but it should be manageable with a wire brush and cleaner. I drove it for about a year with no major issues until now. It would be a fantastic road trip car once it's fixed! I originally bought it for $7000 and invested over $4000 in parts like brakes, tires, and oil leak repairs. I have a list of parts to help with finding replacements. Asking $6,000 or best offer. Serious buyers only, as we need to fund a replacement family car. Please tell me why you're interested!
