Vintage 80s Ritva Westenius Black Velvet Dress XS

A beautiful, rare, and ultra sexy yet elegant vintage black velvet dress from UK designer Ritva Westenius, a designer, more so known for her work in bridal couture. This rare piece from her collection has a rich black colour, silky feel and crushed watery-like crushed reflective velvet, satin buttons, and a V shaped waist. A basque structured silhouette. The front of the dress has a central row of buttons, creating a sophisticated and classic look. An incredible example of high fashion from that era, and a timeless too. Size: XS US 2-4 depending on proportions. It is form-fitting. Very figure flattering. Measurements Bust: 15 inches Waist: 13 inches Hips: 16 inches Condition: very good pre loved, no stains or snags. One of the satin buttons is loose but this can be easily fixed. The inner lining is cut off from the waist down. This is not obvious and does not cause the velvet material of the dress to look sheer otherwise. I removed it because I felt it would give a more comfortable fit.
