IT HAS NEVER BEEN USED AS A COMPOSTER - It is clean & does not smell. Following the costume use - there are some small additional ventilation screw holes on the sides. (Please see photographs) As well as tape residue - this will come off automatically after a season outside. Both the lid and the sliding bottom door operate easily & freely.
