Nice 1613-1645 AD Russia Mikhaíl (I) Fyodorovich Románov

1613-1645 AD Russian Empire Mikhaíl (I) Fyodorovich Románov, aka Michael I. Silver kopek wire money (read below). 12.4 mm, .46 grams. #2015-060 in WB. To see all my coins, please search zzz. Russian wire money, hand-struck between 1475 and 1729, were cut from wires or cable and usually have on the obverse (front), a horseman, left, spearing a dragon, bottom right. The horseman is Moscow’s patron Saint George. The reverse is Cyrillic attribution to the king. In this specimen, the obverse is rather weak/poor, but the reverse is superb. Slava Ukrayini!
