Beautifully refinished vintage dresser by Peppler Furniture of Hanover, Ontario, thoughtfully updated in a warm modern organic aesthetic while preserving the quality craftsmanship and character of this Canadian-made piece. The gorgeous mahogany top and base were stripped back and refinished in General Finishes Java, bringing out the rich depth, warmth and natural variation of the wood grain. The body has been refinished in Fusion Mineral Paint’s Little Lamb, a soft, sophisticated neutral that pairs beautifully with the deep mahogany. New brushed brass hardware adds just the right amount of warmth and gives this vintage piece a fresh, elevated look. One of my favourite details is the original built-in jewelry/change tray in the top centre drawer—a wonderful feature from the original design that has been preserved. The dresser offers nine drawers in total, providing an impressive amount of storage.
