AltaGlass (Medicine Hat) bird ornament with stand
$100
Hand filigree glass ornament featuring blue bird figures in a fountain glass stand. It's delicate glass material. It measures approximately 16 cm (6.3") in height and 8 cm (3.1") in diameter. This is a possible one of a kind piece.
Done by John Furch (1952-1976) for his daughter Margaret Stagg. He was an immigrant and trained glassblower from Czechoslovakia who took over ownership in 1952 and shifted focus to custom, low-volume artistic art glass.
