Vintage 1970s Muurla Finland Asket Bark Glass Carafe

Selling a gorgeous vintage 1970s Scandinavian art glass carafe/decanter designed by Markku Salo for the renowned Finnish glassworks company Muurla. It features an incredible, highly textured "bark glass" or "crinkle glass" design that beautifully mimics the organic look of a tree trunk. As a unique bonus for vintage glass collectors, the thick, solid glass base contains manganese-causing the bottom to glow under a UV/blacklight in the dark! • Origin: Made in Finland (Muurla Glass) • Designer: Markku Salo (Pattern: Asket) • Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The glass is perfectly clear with no chips, cracks, cloudiness, or hard water stains.
