Sanrio Yujin Hello Metcha Esute Tamagotchi Virtual Pet

1997 white plastic Hello Kitty virtual pet keychain game by Yujin and Sanrio. It’s in its original blister packaging and includes a silver ball chain. I had no idea I was buying the special Hello Kitty tamagotchi ED edition when I got this vintage piece at a convention. Turns out it’s about Hello Kitty trying to get fit before a date with a boy (???). I’m working on procuring new batteries but the device works. My batteries ran out of juice. The unit looks good — no corrosion inside or rubbed-off lettering. It uses LR44 batteries. This will be sold with two fresh batteries and I can add extras for $5. Pickup at King and Yonge in downtown Toronto. First come, first served.
