Vintage child’s seersucker kimono-style top from Japan

Vintage from Japan! Purchased by me on a sweltering hot day at a street market in Tokyo, this child's seersucker kimono-style wrap top is in a soft seafoam green cotton featuring a print small flowers and fruit in pale peach and umber with short sleeves. Features a 5.5” front pocket on the left side, side vents and tie closures at each side about waist level. I think this may at one time been part of a jinbei set, alas it is only the top now. Size 120. Measures 22” from centre back to hem. Sleeve length from centre back to elbow-ish is 14”. Note: Jellycat in last photo is for scale only - it’s not for sale!
