Elegant and substantial vintage brass candlestick holder designed in a classic Neoclassical / French Empire style. The piece is formed as a tripod athénienne-inspired stand with an urn-shaped candle cup supported by three sweeping legs adorned with decorative floral swags, hanging chains, and graceful scrolled feet. The ornate triangular base features detailed acanthus leaf relief work and gives the candlestick impressive weight and stability. The brass has developed a rich natural aged patina with darker recessed tones that beautifully emphasize the sculptural details and antique character.
