Old wooden crook-handled stockman's / livestock cane, prominently engraved:
HAYS FARMS LTD
Believed associated with the historic Hays Farms Limited of Oakville, Ontario, established by brothers Tom and Harry Hays.
Hays Farms developed an international reputation in the Canadian purebred livestock industry, handling cattle sales and exports, including Holstein dairy cattle and Shorthorn beef cattle.
The company was also associated with livestock sales at Toronto's famous Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.
A wonderful piece of Oakville / Halton history and Canadian farming heritage.

- Traditional large curved crook handle
- Approximately 35 inches long
- Crook approximately 6 inches across
- HAYS FARMS LTD deeply engraved into the shaft
- Attractive aged wood grain and original patina
- Believed mid-20th century, possibly circa 1950s–1970s (exact age unknown)
Original vintage condition with surface wear, marks, some old white paint/residue on the handle and wear to the wooden tip. See detailed photographs.
