The piece features a rich dark brown-purple Zisha clay body decorated with intricate pewter/tin overlays depicting goldfish and traditional auspicious cloud motifs. The combination of natural textured clay and silver-tone metal decoration gives this piece a distinctive traditional Chinese aesthetic. The underside retains an impressed maker’s seal mark, adding to its collectible character. A wonderful piece for a Chinese teaware collection, Asian décor display, or as a unique decorative accent.
