SSR stands for Super Sport Roadster, and the concept combined the nostalgic styling of Chevrolet’s classic Advance Design trucks from the late 1940s and early 1950s with a modern roadster design. Its most distinctive feature was its bold, rounded bodywork and sporty proportions. The concept attracted enough attention for Chevrolet to develop a production version, which debuted for the 2003 model year. The production SSR featured a retractable hardtop and combined pickup-truck practicality with open-air cruising. This unusual design makes the Chevrolet SSR a memorable piece of modern American automotive history. Perfect Christmas gift for a Chevrolet enthusiast, classic truck lover, or diecast collector!
