FREE DELIVERY: Vintage Waterfall Dresser $160 (HRM)

Vintage ‘Waterfall’ dresser, made from real maple wood. Circa est. 1937-1941. Almost 100 years strong! Original glass knobs were replaced with modern black ones, for a pleasant blend of old and new styling. The original knobs had Robertson screws through square nuts which is one clue to the era. Likely originates from Ontario or Quebec manufacturing. The top part appears to be solid maple rather than the much more common veneers in that era. The back (where you can see the cut wood grain) and underside of the top piece both show what appears as solid maple wood, a good indicator of higher production quality. Aside from new knobs, this has been partially refinished in the structural sense; tracks were removed and remounted, so all the drawers slide properly without contacting other drawers. Drawer slides are lubricated with silicone for durability and smooth movement in the decades ahead. Everything works really well. All the drawers are clean and no odours.
