Model BES870XL /B Purchased new in 2020. Never missed a routine cleaning or descaling cycle. Reason for selling: There is a leak caused by one of the washers and switched to mokapot. Last month, I opened the cover of the Breville to manually clear the hot water tubes as I felt the pressure was declining. I soaked the tubes in descale and this fixed the issue. However, after reassembling I keep running into the issue of one of the washers not keeping a seal. I carefully followed online tutorials during disassembly and made sure to reverse my steps was reassembling. I bought replacement OEM washers and even new steel pinch clamps from eBay. But I can’t seem to fix the issue. It’s frustrating because the solenoid, motor, grinder all work and have never given me any issues. If you are interested in a DIY fix to get a great expresso machine at a discount (or just want to sell for parts) then this would be that opportunity. It retails new for as high as $800 still. I’d be happy to walk you through my steps and where I think the issue lies. Includes original box (& foam packers), accessories as shown in photos and extra water filter. Cash only and meet up near Kits preferred. Thank you!
