Vintage 1940 Tuxis & Older Boys' Parliament Photo

This youth parliamentary program brought boys from across Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario to participate in a mock parliament held in the Manitoba Legislative Building in Winnipeg. The photograph shows dozens of participants and leaders gathered beneath the Manitoba coat of arms inside the legislative chamber. Original black-and-white photograph. Caption reads: “19th Tuxis & Older Boys’ Parliament of Manitoba & North Western Ontario, 1940”. Vintage wooden frame. Estimated size: approx. 12" x 8" (please see photos). Shows normal wear consistent with age including light surface marks and aging to the backing, but displays nicely. A great piece of Canadian political history or Manitoba historical memorabilia. It could also be meaningful to families researching ancestors who may have participated in the program. Please review photos carefully for condition.
