Antique Berger & Sons Surveyors Transit & Rod, purchased by my father-in-law in 1960 and used to survey the University subway line. I also have photos of this in action. Everything is working and includes: No. P100647, Optics clean and no damage, Spider web cross hairs intact, Compass, Mirrors, Tripod Mount, Level adjustments and dials, Adjustment Key, Tripod refinished and sealed, Level Rod cleaned, oiled, Carry box in original condition – could use a re-finish. I may complete this however though it may be better in the original condition, Digital Handbook and Catalogue. From what I can tell – this is what is missing from this kit: Sun visor attachment, Plumb bob and string. From a cat friendly home. Located in Collingwood.
