Women's Clothes for Shelter

Can anyone recommend a Women's Shelter to donate items/ clothing etc to? I saw an expose on the news that said that most clothes donated, end up in the landfills. Reason why? Consumers are buying cheap clothing from China etc I would rather donate to a shelter to those in need, and know it does not end up in the garbage. Thanks very much 😀 👍
