Carved wood duck lamp - Lorimer 1960

Lorimer made this lamp in 1960. S/He seems like a very crafty and talented individual. I would’ve liked to have met Lorimer. I wonder what the story is behind the wooden duck lamp. Whom was it made for? Where is it’s family now? Looks beautiful on my bookshelf but would display as well at a cottage or cabin. There are a couple of scratches which you may choose to repair.
