PlayStation 4 + Controller [Not Working/As is] (Parts/Repair)

PlayStation 4 Slim for parts/repair.
Console will not leave safe mode.
Disc drive is faulty.
500gb HDD still inside.
Right D-pad does not function. Rest of the controller is fine.
Don’t have an ac adapter included but can throw in an HDMI cable.
Unsure how this can be fixed so labelling it is as not working/ as is.
