About the Artist:
Paul Slipper is a highly regarded, Vancouver-based contemporary artist who graduated from the prestigious Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 1983 [Oeno Gallery]. While he is internationally renowned for his monumental public stone and granite sculptures throughout British Columbia and Canada, his two-dimensional works capture the same raw, atmospheric essence of the Pacific Northwest. This rare, moody landscape features a receding perspective line cutting through a misty, deep blue horizon.
Condition Report:
• Artwork Surface: Excellent condition. The piece is clean and free of any fading, water damage, or warping.
• Frame Glass: Damaged. There is a visible diagonal crack in the glass at the bottom-left corner. The frame itself and the backing board are sturdy, but the glass will need to be replaced by the buyer. Priced accordingly.
Perfect for collectors of local Pacific Northwest art or Emily Carr alumni works. Beautiful, calming statement piece for a home or office.
