MCM Krug Solid Elm Extendable Dining Table – Ebony Finish

A clean, well-proportioned mid century modern dining table made in Canada by Krug. This piece has been refinished in an ebony hardwax oil, giving it a rich black tone with subtle warmth. In certain light, the legs and apron reveal a deep coffee hue, while the top reads as a smooth, even black with a soft matte sheen. Durable, repairable, and made to be lived with. Constructed from solid elm, with the grain still visible beneath the finish. The table includes a center leaf to extend for additional seating. The leaf integrates cleanly into the top. Note that the leaf does not have an apron, which is typical for this style of extension and does not affect stability or function.
