Vintage 60s 70s Wool Plaid Cape Poncho Fringe Button Front Mod F

Charming vintage 1960s/ 1970s hip length structured wool poncho cape in a bold and saturated tartan plaid. A true statement layer, with incredible color blocking in deep navy blue, emerald green, red, and golden yellow. Poncho is made of high quality woven wool with a bonded lining, by Minnesota Woolen Mills from the USA. It has a dramatic swing silhouette, a button-front closure, and arm slits for ease of movement. It is trimmed with navy blue wool fringe. This style layers beautifully and is perfect for 70s folk, mod, cottagecore and heritage inspired looks. Poncho is in good vintage condition. There is some hand-repaired damage to the interior lining at the back and bottom of one side that is hard to spot from the exterior and does not affect wear. Last 4 photos show damaged areas from inside and outside. No size tag, best for a size S based on width of the shoulder seam. Shoulder width measures about 15.5", length from neckline to bottom of fringe measures about 25".
