FREE DELIVERY: Antique / Vintage Dresser $350 (HRM)

Antique dresser with a fully refinished exterior, but with its original pulls. Made from real solid wood, as one can expect for the age. Vintage is likely ~1880 to 1890 based on the late Victorian styling, namely a lock top drawer, paired with the back-pressed brass handle, and the thick solid wood panel backing and other giveaways that I could point out in person. Neat things that you don’t see nowadays on modern furniture or even more recent pre MCM era. The exterior is sanded, double stained and sealed with a glossy finish for excellent resistance to scuffs and liquids. Cured over several weeks, very solid finish and inert. Scalloped trims and lovely simple linear styling depths. The styling is approx a couple decades pre-Art Deco era, that has a subtle Art Deco vibe appearance, in my opinion. The inside drawers are all real wood and were sanded down and wiped, so it’s all smooth and no more pencil markings! It is natural wood and unsealed however is sill remarkably very much undamaged and very inert. Unsealed inner wood drawers is a common preference and design feature for those that enjoy the beauty of real unmodified wood, even on antiques, including naturally coloured wood like mahogany. It could be sealed separately or on request post purchase, but in my opinion totally unnecessary. It is very cleanable as is without issue. This has never been an issue with any of my customers for years except for one recently and unexpectedly, probably not something I need to mention or bring up again - but reviews are forever and the (FB) system does not allow me to respond on that platform. No transparency issues here on Karrot though! I’m happy to be transparent about everything! Ask any questions. The wood quality is very solid, no cracks of any concern and everything is solid and sturdy. Non smoking household, and no odours. Please inspect (try out and check out) everything on the delivery because I offer the right to refuse, for a worry-free and positive ordering experience, without judgment. One thing in case anyone notices: I put the metal lock attachments at the top of the drawers upside down during the photo (d’oh!). They are actually now right side up, the way these vintage skeleton key hole locks are supposed to look. So don’t mind that, please.
