Fornasetti Teatro alla Scala Set of 3 Trays - Very Rare
$550
A rare matched set of three mid-century porcelain trays from Piero Fornasetti's celebrated Teatro alla Scala series. Each piece is a trompe-l'œil (fool-the-eye) reproduction of a historic La Scala playbill, finished with Fornasetti's signature folded, crumpled-paper edge and a gilt wavy border. Together they trace more than a century of the opera house's history.
