The frame was sanded down. 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of light gray paint was applied. A poly acrylic top coat was applied to protect the paint. The top surface was sanded down revealing the wood grains. It has been stained a walnut color and a polyurethane top coat was applied to protect the surface.
