This is a vintage black matte bone china teacup and saucer set, made in Staffordshire, England. The set features elegant gold rim along the edges on the cup and the saucer, with a refined and classic silhouette. The finish is matte black on the exterior. There are visible age-related crazing lines (fine hairline cracks in the glaze), which are common in vintage bone china. The base is marked: "FLORAL BONE CHINA STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLAND" , and also includes what appears to be a handwritten signature or production mark from the original maker.
