FULLY FUNCTIONAL. ALL LIGHTS WORK. This is a custom made Dalek in the theme of the original Doctor Who series. Very tough and sturdy costume. This Dalek comes with 4 new Wheeled casters so that it is easy to move around when in use. It easily splits into apart in 3 sections for transportation. It fits easily in the back of my 2012 Traverse. It was designed to fit my tall 8-12 year old son. He enjoyed this costume for many years. (as you can see from the photos, the interior is child safe) . Every time he approached anyone while in this Dalek costume, they would run in terror and then ask for photos. (Fear of Daleks is apparently universal, lol) He was always delighted. There are two ways to get into the costume: A. Lift the middle section off the bottom. Then lift the person into the costume. Replace the top of the costume. B. There is a door at the back of the costume. The costume wearer can slide into the costume. Reinstall the door at the rear of the costume. (See photos for rear door) The costume is roomy, and easy to see through. My son never crashed into anyone. It is however difficult to interact with external displays - I always found this beneficial since it saved me money. The TOP section is 43in in circumference. The MIDDLE section is 55in in circumference. The BOTTOM section is approximately 98in in circumference. The costume is 68 in tall. When standing inside. The Dalek speech lights on top add a bit more height. (In some of the photos the Dalek does not have the wheels installed) The costume comes with many extra craft balls to replace the lower sections of the silver bulbs part of the Dalek if necessary. This is an incredibly robust costume, made of hard industrial plastic. The only parts of the costume that are a little fragile are the silver bulbs, since they are made of craft foam. (also, some fans feel the need to steal them 🤬) The SPEAKING bulbs at the top light up with an easy push of a button (press the button while speaking or playing a sound bite) . The Blue "Death Ray" works well as you can see. Simply press it to turn it on or off. see video here: https://youtube.com/shorts/GnH_IYdvs4s?si=kUbwf7grcW7s1vEy The parts to make this costume originally cost me over $200. It breaks our heart to sell this VERY beloved costume, but my son has outgrown it and we are moving. This costume has been in the presence of Matt Smith (one the "Doctors"). We were honored by 10 minutes of discussion with this fantastic actor as we discussed the building of this Costume. (A truly kind man to spend so much time with my son ) Please feel free to ask questions.
