$40 Beautiful vintage Canadian door hardware, likely dating from the 1920s–1930s, with Arts & Crafts and early Art Deco design influences. Ideal for restoring a period bungalow, heritage home, or vintage architectural salvage project. Includes: - Original PETERBORO mortise lock mechanism, marked with the name of the historic Peterborough, Ontario manufacturer - Two matching ornate metal backplates with keyholes, approximately 6" long - Two round metal doorknobs, approximately 2" diameter - Square spindle - Three small original period mounting screws The decorative backplates feature attractive Arts & Crafts / Art Deco-era detailing with a wonderfully aged, mottled brass and dark metal patina. Condition: Authentic vintage condition with considerable age-related patina, oxidation and finish wear, particularly on the round doorknobs. Only three original-style mounting screws are included. Additional screws or hardware may be needed for installation. Lock mechanism has not been tested. Selling as pictured and as-is.
