Primitive Folk Art Santa Claus Figurine Paper Mache Face

Absolutely charming handmade primitive folk-art Santa Claus, approximately 14" tall. This unique Santa features a hand-painted face, rustic felt/wool clothing, a wonderfully full natural wool beard and hair, and a handmade twig wreath held in his hands. His face appears to be crafted from papier-mâché and has been individually hand-painted. The rustic construction and wonderful handmade details give him an especially warm, old-world Christmas character. Likely a late-20th-century handmade decorative piece. Beautifully preserved vintage condition with the natural character expected from a handmade textile and papier-mâché piece. Approximately 14" tall. A truly special and unusual Santa.
