It is hardy, low-maintenance, drought-tolerant, and blooms from summer to fall, attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies. Start seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost, or directly sow them outdoors in early spring after the frost risk passes, or even in early fall. You can also use the winter sowing method, planting seeds outdoors in mid- to late winter for them to germinate in the spring.
