Newly sanded ikea tarva 6 drawer dresser

Newly sanded ikea tarva 6 drawer dresser Ive sanded the entire frame and the drawer fronts of this ikea tarva dresser. The top surface is smooth, excellent for repainting or staining. There were oil spots on the top surface which was removed by using a baking soda paste. Unfortunately the baking soda changed the tone of the wood slightly.
