Beautiful large vintage Italian Rimini Blu ceramic bull, attributed to Bitossi Ceramiche and Aldo Londi, circa 1960s–1970s. A striking and highly collectible Mid-Century Modern sculptural piece featuring a spectacular rich blue, turquoise and cobalt crystalline glaze, textured surface and distinctive geometric motifs impressed into the ceramic. The Rimini Blu collection is one of Bitossi's most recognizable designs, developed under celebrated Italian ceramicist Aldo Londi and introduced in the late 1950s. The combination of sculptural forms, hand-impressed geometric decoration and luminous blue glaze has made Rimini Blu especially desirable among collectors of Italian art pottery.
