Abstract Portrait Painting

This painting began with a casual conversation about careers and life goals with my girlfriend. I was proud of everything she’d achieved, but she didn’t see it that way, she felt she could still do more. That moment made me realize that progress doesn’t mean much unless you believe in it yourself. This portrait of her captures that unfinished form: a reflection of growing self-awareness, where the ideal self has yet to fully take shape.
