Yamaha Maxim XJ700 Cruiser Motorcycle

1985 Yamaha Maxim XJ700 I had in university, and still ride 25 years later. Make me a reasonable offer. It's a nice looking bike, comfortable ride, and fun to ride. Look for Youtube videos and you'll see what I mean. I've kept it cosmetically the same as it was in university for sentimental reasons, other than mechanical items changed / redone / freshened up during mechanical repairs like the final drive assy, valve covers, etc. Seat is perfect, no rips. Everything safety-related has always been done without cutting corners. But paint is not perfect, and the front fender has a dent in it. Cheap to repair, but this is what it looked like in University when I got it, so it's what it looks like today. It even still has my University parking sticker on the fork (not very noticeable so not an eye sore). For perspective, do your research to see what it would cost to get this bike painted vs what it costs to service the carbs and get new tires (zoom into tire pics and you'll see the nibs still there, even on the tread). I did all that last year and other stuff, but I will keep adding this info as I find it. I'm in Bolton. I can ride the bike and meet you at a car event (Thursday) in town.
