Victorian Silver & Mother of Pearl Desert Server
$45
Beautiful antique Victorian/Edwardian dessert/pastry server crafted by the renowned Levesley Brothers of Sheffield, England (circa 1890–1910)
Genuine, luminous mother-of-pearl handle with a beautiful natural shimmer
Solid sterling silver collar (Ferrule) clearly stamped "STERLING"
Flat, wide electroplated silver blade featuring the authentic Levesley Brothers maker's marks (L • B • ✶ • S • EP).
• Dimensions: 9" total length; blade is 1.5" wide at its widest point
During the late 19th and early 20th centuries (circa 1890–1910), elaborate multi-course desserts required these flat, wedge-style blades to neatly slice and lift soft desserts without damaging them
Great vintage condition
The mother-of-pearl handle is completely intact with no cracks. The sterling collar and silver-plated blade show light, honest age-appropriate wear and minor patina that adds to its historic charm
