Selling a remarkably clean Panasonic Shockwave Discman — model SL-SW505 in blue. These are the cream of the crop as far as vintage discmans are concerned. Revered as extremely durable — these units were built to withstand shock, vibration, heat, and water. Membrane buttons. Water-resistant gasket seals. Features •XBS (Extra Bass System) for enhanced low-end sound. •Ruggedized casing and rubber shock absorbers. •Top-loading CD design with a locking mechanism, membrane-covered buttons to prevent water/dust ingress, and a side-mounted headphone jack. •Includes a digital buffer for enhanced portability (anti-skip/shock) to prevent interruptions during movement. •Volume controls, play/pause, skip, and hold/memory/recall functions.
