1948 Canada Silver Dollar Coin

This is a 1948 Canadian silver dollar coin. It features King George VI on one side and two Indigenous paddlers in a canoe on the other. A nice collectible piece! I've had this coin checked out and here is what pertains to this piece...an honest and true description of the coin. ### Obverse (front) **Wear and Detail Integrity:** The high points show substantial wear, especially on the canoeists and the canoe itself, with major elements visible but lacking fine detail. **Luster and Eye Appeal:** The luster is low, resulting in a flat appearance. The overall eye appeal is average. **Surface Condition:** The surface exhibits discoloration and minor contact marks, consistent with circulated coins. ### Reverse (back) **Wear and Detail Integrity:** Significant wear is evident on the portrait, with most fine details lost. Major elements are still discernible. **Luster and Eye Appeal:** Low luster and diminished visual appeal due to the flatness of the surface. **Surface Condition:** Noticeable scratches and discoloration are present, typical of prolonged circulation. ### Grading Analysis Results **Grade: F-12 (Fine 12)** This grade reflects a coin with significant wear, where major design elements are still visible but lack detail.
