Vintage Persian Wood Box - Hand-Painted Polo Scene

Beautiful vintage Persian Khatam Kari jewelry trinket box featuring an incredibly detailed, handcrafted micro-mosaic inlay. The top center medallion showcases a traditional hand-painted miniature polo scene (Chovgan) surrounded by a floral border. The sides are wrapped in an intricate geometric star pattern. There is some damage to one of the corners on the lid, where some of the inlay has come off (as seen in the final photo) but not terribly noticeable. About 5” wide, 4” deep, and 3” tall. 🏃‍♂️Pick up in the Ossington and Davenport area. Please check my listings for other vintage home decor items. 🙂 Please note: no holds longer than 24 hours unless paid in full ahead of time via direct deposit.
