Robinson Ransbottom Sun Moon Planters – Circ. 1930s Art Pottery
$167
This magnificent pair of authentic Robinson Ransbottom (RRP Co.) "Sun and Moon" planters is a heavyweight example of Ohio art pottery. Featuring the iconic "Celestial" embossed motif, these pieces are finished in a high-gloss "Majolica-style" drip glaze that melts from a deep tobacco brown into a vibrant forest green.
These are substantial, heavy-walled stoneware pieces—the large planter alone weighs nearly 4 kilos. This matched set is perfect for a collector or as a statement duo for a Mid-Century Modern or Farmhouse-style home.
