Ebony Sculpture Turtle

This original carved Ebony art turtle figurine serves as a decorative accent piece. It is hand carved and features a textured shell design. I was told it’s Makonde but people out here reported me saying I am wrong so I have altered the description. It is Ebony. Dimensions are approximately 10 cm by 6 cm (4" by 2.5"). Brought home from a trip across Africa in the 60s. The couple who brought it back travelled across many regions of Africa collecting art. Part of an Estate sale
