He won the Stanley Cup in Calgary in 1989 and the Selke as the best Defensive Forward in 1992,93. He was nicknamed, Killer for his intensity, and physical play. In 1992,93 he broke the Toronto Franchise record for assists,95 and total points, 127. He also had six assists on six goals in one game. He became captain in 1994, he succeeded Wendel Clark, who was traded to Quebec. In 1995 he scored his 1,000 Pt his sweater was raised to the rafters.
