Johnson 9.9 Outboard Motor

This is a Johnson 9.9 outboard motor. Its approx 1978-1979 model year. It runs with a couple of issues. Recoil starter needs replacing it does not snap back the way it used to and dangles out a bit. Still works to start though. The transmission seal to the lower end gear box needs replacing. To my knowledge it has never been done. The others have been donemultiple times but we never had the tools to do the transmission rod seal. And it recently started leaking. So needs a seal and a new recoil.
